Referee's Trophy

Postby Ashi Sun Sep 29, 2013 6:28 pm

A big thank you to everyone involved in today's Ref's Trophy games. Thanks to Wilmslow for providing the facilities and to the officials, players and supporters who made it such a successful event. Congratulations to the East team for a great comeback and victory in the junior game and to Cheshire for their one goal win in a closely contested senior game. There was some great lacrosse on show today. Ian Ashworth, Chair, North of England Referee's Association.

Absolutely; what a game.

Both sides really did look top of their game; some great individual and team lacrosse.

Gallon was a beast on the face off, don't think he lost one. Lancs no 5 from Mersey looks a talent.

Reynolds had a cracking game and possibly made the difference.

Burgers were a solid 7/10, beer a 9 and the sun had his hat on.

Happy days.
