Can I use a pita pocket in the rain?

Postby jfoel Fri May 31, 2013 3:46 pm

I got a pita pocket a while ago and I really like it but I was told not to use it in the rain. I was just wondering if water really has that much of an effect on it. Any thoughts?

you could use it in the rain...but it'll probably shift around a fair bit so unless you really know what your doing to get it back to how you like it I wouldn't. I'd definitely keep it away from wet sand based astroturf, that screwed mine up alot.
Currently M.I.A. - I'll be back.

You could also try leather conditioner (used for baseball gloves etc) and use sidewall instead of crosslace. Sidewall has less stretch and more bite on the leathers.
I like to string and I like to help my fellow stringers. Drop me a line if you need help, be it stringing mesh pockets, custom pockets, repairs etc.
