The easton raptor is such a nice helmet, I don't think any other helmet beats it on visibility, fit, comfort and weight.
Though i've found that it hurts more taking a stick check to the head, though head on head bumps shake me up less.
I've also had my raptors panels begin to unglue, but that could just be a one off fault.
This recall due to manufacturing problem is a such a set back in this cascade dominated market. As it is such a good helmet and really gives a feel no other helmets offer.

Why not try both on and see what you prefer.
