A repeat of the same event held last year in Milton Keynes, which pretty much splits the travel time evenly between Manchester and South London based players. Last year the North won 9-6, read the report at http://mklacrosse.co.uk/2013/07/north-vets-9-6-south-vets/.
The North currently have a 15-man squad coming down. The South squad is building nicely but has space for more. Players over 35 years only, with older players encouraged as the North squad contains most of the 45+ years England Lions squad who are going to Denver for the FIL2014.
The current South squad is;
Colin Byrne (Spencer)
Jon Dodd (Spencer)
Rob Gooch (Spencer)
Graham Bland (Buckhurst Hill)
Dave Williams (Buckhurst Hill)
Andy Damm (Epsom)
Dave Gibson (Epsom)
Dave Leach (Hitchin)
Dave Slaughter (Purley)
Justin Baranowski (Purley)
Andy Booth (Purley)
Craig Simkin (Croydon)
As always with vets games, middies are in short supply... I wonder why?
If you want to join the South squad email me on robert.gooch@gmail.com
Cost will be £10 per player which includes post-game food in the bar at the Woughton Pavilion ground.
The event also acts as a fundraiser for the new Milton Keynes Lacrosse Club and there will be a booze prize raffle. Prizes include bottles of whisky and wine. Tickets will be the usual £1 each and available from myself in the bar after the game.

You certainly do Steve - my apologies - Orange is not your colour.
Squad correct on http://mklacrosse.co.uk/2014/05/preview-england-lions-vs-south-vets-31st-may/ so I'll just update that now leading into the game.
Also those with SOAP Stars bibs from last year please bring. We have 5 or 6 spares so should have enough. If you have a mostly white or pale blue alternative please put in your kit bag just in case.

Soaps won a fair contest in the sunshine 11 - 5/6.
Well done to Rob for organising and reffing, and the Lions team for making the journey down.
