Tbh we should have built on the 6-0 lead, plus I think at one point we were 11-6 up
almost the opposite of the draw at your place when we pulled it back from 9-5 down. However it must've made for a good exhibition of the sport for the crowd
After playing ports 3 times this season, they are definitely a good side, hardly been a massive difference between us all season (as seen by the results) and it had certainly been enjoyable in every match.
I know how you guys must feel, as we had the same done to us last year with cardiff beating us in the league and flags. Good luck next season and hopefully you'll go one better!

Exeter 12? Hillcroft A 5...
We brought nothing to the party. Congratulations to Exeter who are a well organised, skilled team. Hopefully get a chance of a rematch next season.

I noticed that there were some professional looking cameras at the Flags. Are photos going to be available anywhere?

We got a photogarpher/videotogapher down to do our game. video will be out in the next month we hope as will pics. I am sure that doesnt really help you much but would be more then happy to send down a copy of vid and pics to the pompey boys.
possibly an idea to do this each year for all finals? would be great to have a lax highlight vid of the day?
Also wanted to say a massive thankyou to Pompey for the game. It has always been an epic battle everytime we have played and they have always been good lads to the end. Good luck to Liam, been a great captain for them and wish him all the best (Liam I hear Bristol would happily have you if you move here!).
have to agree that if you had had a few more mins then it might have been an interesting OT!
thanks to all for a great season.

I'm pretty sure there was a professional photographer last year, but yeah I agree, these things really should be filmed. It would be kind of cool to look back over the years and see the progression of skill in the south.

I don't recall seeing anyone else there last year. Sorry I missed this year - sounds like it was a good one. Should be at Pompey 8s playing and will probably bring a camera. Bluesfest clashes with brother's wedding

I have: lax comes above brother's wedding. Unfortunately the combined wrath of my wife and my mother at having the best man skip the wedding trumps even Bluesfest!
