Iroquois are very strong. We don't seem to have any answer to the face off. Shooting is ultrasharp and sniping from the outside of the defence is effective. Unforced errors up front costing possession. We really need to step up our game and get some belief!

Better! Big save from the England keeper, clear blocked off and possession lost, counreattack handles a lot batter by the D. Shot saved

But possession lost and they score again! Damn

Jesus, a sweet round the back pass through the defence straight to the waiting stick and they score again!

Yep, 24-2 #schooled

Frankly it was men against boys. Mike Connor played well in goal in the 2nd half, not sure why he didn't start.

England need to put it behind them quickly, Australia tomorrow is a must-win game; lose and 5th is the best we can manage

Pressure of these games is immense - crazy to think it could be 'over' by this time tomorrow(!)

Oz looked strong against the USA in the first quarter, but crumbled as the Yanks stepped up the gears. The defence is vulnerable and Danny Condron and Dane Carney could well give them a bagful of trouble. Aussie Ben Thompson is handy and needs watching. A lot of technical turn overs on the Face off for both USA and Oz, not sure what was going on there but handling the ball was called a few times.

England have a definite chance against Oz so long as they can get their heads and hearts into gear.

If we lose to the Aussies we'll have to beat USA or Canada to have chance of reaching the semis - unlikely on today's evidence!

The fact that Jonny Powless played out of position and was barely given any game-time tells the tale on the strength of this Iroquois squad. They even did some of their OCC trick finishes as if this were just a JuCo-level walkover. Staggering skills, but they'll change up the physical gears for Canada and USA.
