Very quiet on here...

8 days & counting for Europeans and no banter :?:

Perhaps these guys will surprise some teams

got a call last night from Adrian Battersby (Mr 247.tv) and he passed on some more info

Tournament Pass = £20 (GBP)

This covers all LIVE games and you can switch between games on all pitches during game

Replay of any game = £1
Download of any game = £3
DVD of any game also available - the DVDs are High Quality (TV Quality) as not restricted by Bandwidth

At the Tournament DVD will be available 30 minutes after each game
- so teams, players, coaches can scout the next opponent from DVD rather than little bloke with a notepad

Commentary

- there will be Live commentary of all the main games Men's & Women's not restricted to any Country
- I'll be doing the Men's Lacrosse games
- Unfortunately as it is a busy schedule games take place simultaneously of different pitches, otherwise I would have liked to do all of them

Coverage by 247.tv
- there will be more coverage of the Europeans than at the World's
- only the Stadium games were available LIVE at WC2010
- All games are available LIVE at EC2012

Interactive:'
- There will be LIVE chat available during the game
- so fans can chat with each other, have banter, or give opinions on team, commentary, weather, price of sprouts etc in real time
- Twitter: @uklaxfan - I'm new to this malarkey but I will be checking it regularly and there will be live updates from a number of Tweets from all nations.

Music:
- The EC2012 has it's own Anthem by RED17
- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhR1vJJh ... ure=colike

Social:
- All the best lacrosse players men's & women's from all over Europe in Amsterdam for 10 days away from home on Tour
- it might be quite good

Personally
I think clubs should use this opportunity to develop lacrosse
- Support your Country in lacrosse like you would Football or Rugby
- Have events at your Club in the Sunshine to watch the games
- Invite Juniors, Parents, Friends, Family to come down to your Club and have a lacrosse BBQ
- stream the games LIVE through the TV sit back and enjoy
- or pass the details on to all your Juniors & Players that they can watch the Best Players in Europe in their own homes
- PLUS Bonus - England are pretty good at Lacrosse and are defending Champions!

If anyone has any more ideas of how your Club or the Game in the UK can benefit from EC2002 being available to watch

Lets hear them

Tournament Pass = 20 GBP
Replay of a game = 1 GBP
Download = 3 GBP

At WC2010 DVDs = 5 GBP

There is a Premium if you want a DVD within 30 minutes after the game, actually at the Tournament = 21 Euros

When you order DVDs after the Tournament they are not 21 Euros each unless the exchange rate changes dramatically?

Tournament Pass to watch all games at Home LIVE for 20 GBP

I've paid for other tournaments and got a lot less for a lot more

Women's U19s in Canada
- paid for DVDs of all England games, semi-finals & Final never received them never got a response after payment taken

Women's U19s in Germany

- Zero Coverage of any games

Men's & Women's Lacrosse from Amsterdam LIVE is a step in the right direction IMHO

There is a direct HelpDesk facility at 247
- http://www.247.tv/help

Test Stream
- http://www.247.tv/components/com_event/player/?test=1

Message from 247

the DVDs onsite are for Teams/Coaches to scout next opponent or to review their own performance between games

I hope this helps

See if you can use your charm to twist his arm into reducing the cost of the DVDs on the day.
Suggest a business model of cheaper DVD = more sales = more money for him

At the moment personal video might be the better option.

 Charm the birds from the trees...

DVDs post tournament = 5 GBP

It is only for the service of having the DVDs straight after the game that are = 21 Euros

Business models aren't my thing
I am willing to Coach for free over summer and run a camp or clinic = No response

Start charging then. People clearly want a premium product.

Step 1 - Underpants
Step 2 - ?
Step 3 - Profit.

Good Luck and Play Safe to all the players

They have all paid to represent their Countries

I envy all of them to be able to play in the 2012 European Lacrosse Championships
