In the other BUCS semi: Imperial 2 - 10 Cardiff

Slightly flattering scoreline, it was 2-4 half way thru the 3rd quarter, and Cardiff scored 3 or 4 in the last 3 minutes, but Cardiff were well worth the win.

Did I read somewhere that the finals are all at Leeds Met Carnegie this year?

Does that mean they are going to finally mark the 3g for mens lacrosse?

i reckon all trophy tables will be very predictable every year until BUCS start seeding the table instead of regional teams playing each other exactly the same as in the leagues. You could predict the final with almost certainty on the day the table was published.

Only when teams play teams they have never played before will we get some interesting results. This has definitely been the most uninteresting knock-out i have played in for 4 years

Agreed, I know all of us on the 1st team at Leeds Met were desperate to be in the BUCS Championship so we could get a run at some of top northern prem sides. Obviously if we didnt qualify because we failed to get promotion then its down to us but I think BUCS should have recognised the sort of scorelines we were getting and taken us out of the trophy not just so we play better teams but also so that the trophy itself becomes more competitive. I dont say this out of arrogance at our skill level, and by no means have we had an easy run in the trophy this year (Man Met and St Andrews were very competitive games).
