Leeds have had a long established program of Men's lacrosse and are currently competitive in their BUCS league. unfortunately for them, one or two of their better players are not able to commit to playing all the time, but the program itself seems strong

that was leeds uni, the met also have a team, not sure how established etc it is, seemed a very individual side when I've played them rather than playing more team like

I think it was Leeds Met though that had Sean (?) as a sort of post-grad LDO over from the states for a year which if continued I would imagine will progress their team. And at Leeds you can always play for the Leeds City team in nemla div 4 who have a good setup and are a nice bunch of guys.

Bristol Uni are very closly linked to the City side, with Uni players playing for the Bombers.

They also occasionally have Travis play/coach them, who is currently coaching the dutch national side. They've got a good squad there too.

More importantly, what are you studying and what do you want to do with your degree?

leeds is your best bet for lax, you'll be playing good lax, and be playing in a number of exclusive tournaments like the christie cup

Out of Leeds or Bristol I'd go for Leeds as well. Uni lacrosse team is decent, but then there's the Leeds D4 NEMLA team who are a good bunch of guys and skilled players. Who knows, in 3 years time Leeds might be D2....

Alternatively, I've heard it's grim oop north, in Brizzol you'll find cider that'll melt your face off, west country chavs that say 'Gert lush' a lot, a lax team which is improving and has a pretty solid d line up this season, decent coaches and West 1 is where it's at.

And I don't even play for the Bombers.

I'm surprised Fresher hasn't chipped in...

Bristol are a top side. Uni boys are a great bunch of lads and you have the Bombers who are an even better bunch of lads :P
Good quality lacrosse, good times and the added bonus of not having to go oop North :P + Bristol is a banging city!

Bristol - the only place in the country where when you have 15 half pints of cider and you are GUARENTEED to s**t yourself. That's a fact.
