2012 MR7s Festival - Lacrosse Team Entry Now Open!

After a successful trial last year we are delighted to officially announce the addition of Lacrosse to the Manchester 7s Festival - in partnership with English Lacrosse.

Lacrosse players and fans can look forward to an action packed weekend. The MR7s Festival includes - Camping, Fancy Dress, Kids Zone, Trade Village, Live Music and much more. Please watch the 2011 Festival highlights video for a taste - http://www.youtube.com/user/mrsevensfestival

All Lacrosse tournaments will take place on Saturday 19 May. Teams can enter the following tournaments at the 2012 Festival -
- Men's Open
- Women's Open
- Over 30's

If you are not playing in the Lacrosse but want to watch the tournaments and enjoy the Festival, please purchase your tickets on Ticketmaster.co.uk.

All on the day Lacrosse duties will be handled by English Lacrosse, so expect registration, pitch management and refereeing to run smoothly and professionally. Those entering the Lacrosse tournaments will have the same access to all the Festival entertainment and facilities as the rugby players.

A number of Lacrosse teams have already expressed interest in entering the Festival, as well as Lacrosse sportswear brands and suppliers about exhibiting, so make sure you book your place today!
