Any LaX teams around Shrewsbury?

Postby fabfouruk Tue Dec 01, 2009 7:06 pm

We are about to move to Shrewsbury from Chester and my 12 (almost 13) year old daughter would like to continue playing. Her new school doesn't have a team - does anyone know of any teams in the area?
Thanks :D

Contact the ELA to see if they have any details.

It was me that was asking around, but only for men's teams really. However, in my searching I found that basically the only women's lacrosse being played around here is in schools. If you contact either Adcote School or Moreton Hall you may be in luck with letting your daughter train, but bear in mind that they are both independant schools and might be a bit stubborn with that.
On another note, I notice you're moving from Chester. Have you bumped into anyone from that area who wants to start a men's team at all?
Many thanks and the best of luck.
