Looking for a head coach for Team Finland

The Women’s National Lacrosse Team of Finland is looking for a head coach for the upcoming European Championships 6.-16.8.2008 which are held in Lahti, Finland.

The Finnish Lacrosse Association was established on 2001 when also women started to play. Today women have teams in Helsinki and Turku. On 2005 Team Finland had the first international tournament which was the European Newcomers in Denmark. Team was on third place after Ireland and Denmark.

Here are some thoughts from our side what we are expecting from our co-operation:

We would like to invite the coach to Finland for the try outs on December 2007 / January 2008 for a weekend. It is totally up to the coach and the Finnish Lacrosse Association on which weekend the try outs are held. The association will pay the coach’s plain tickets and arrange accommodation. Also we would appreciate if the coach could join the team week or two before the tournament.

The official goal for women’s team in the European Championships is to be placed inside the first five (1-5) teams.
