South Coast Beginners Tournament 9/10/2013

Hi,

On wednesday 9th October 1pm-5pm at Wide Lane Sports Ground Southampton we will be hosting a beginners tournament for mens, womens and mixed teams. Entry to the tournament will be free and is an opportunity for beginners to pick up a stick and try the sport in a fun competitive atmosphere. The games will most likely be 8 aside played by simple rules which we will email through once we have confirmed attendance. Men's and Women's will play first with mixed later on in the day to ensure a mixed team can be fielded. It will be a relaxed atmosphere on smaller pitches will the aim of the day to promote lacrosse participation across the south coast.

Hiya, I was mixed lacrosse captain at Bristol Uni last year. If you were planning on having another freshers'/beginners' tournament I know that we'd be able to field a few teams and could return the favour of hosting too.
