Under 16's dream team.

From what little I've seen Sam Ives (of Cheadle) is as good an emerging goalkeeper as I've witnessed for a long time.

I feel the same can be said of Asa Carney (again of Cheadle) as a short-stick.

Sorry about the Cheadle bias....just some food for thought....

Nice team there Vince and thanks for puttin me in it, however i think that Asa Carney should easily fit into the attack of your side. Also Cheadle may not have a great defence but Danny Smith is a quality defender who peforms well week in week out, and would be easy to put into your defence, as you are a weak spot!! (Joke)

Gk - Ethan Jeffrey ( Sheffield )

D - Paul No.6 ( Stockport )
D - David Reay ( Sheffield )
.....
.....

M - Steve Patterson ( Cheadle )
M - Nick ( Stockport )
M - George.I ( Sheffield )
M - Rob Hopkins ( Sheffield )
M - Jack Brook (Timperley)
M - Elliot Reynolds ( Brooklands )

A - Jonnie Hackett ( Stockport )
A - Asa Carney ( Cheadle )
A - Matt Beresford ( Sheffield )
....

Because itsonly half way through the season , it's hard to judge on which player would fit each position . And i've left '...' in some positions because i'm stuck for who to put. But i think by the end of the season, it will be easier to make judgements on which player fits the best position because of each team playing eachother several times.

GK - Sam Ives (Cheadle)
GK - Ruari Dolan (Mellor)

D - Paul Lonsdale (Stockport)
D - Andy Nicholls (Poynton)
D - Abdullah Abdelkafi (Norbury)
LSM - Pete (Norbury)

Mid - Elliott Reynolds (Brooklands)
Mid - Steve Paterson (Cheadle)
Mid - Chris Kearney (Mellor)
Mid - Rob Hopkins (Sheffield)
Mid - Ollie White (Timperley)
Mid - Nick Carley (Stockport)
Mid - James Hawksworth (Poynton)

Att - Asa Carney (Cheadle)
Att - Jim (Mersey)
Att - Jonnie Hackett (Stockport)
Att - George Bailey (Stockport)

You might be surprised with the 2 Poynton players being in there because lets be honest, we're not exactly dominating everyone we play :(, but Hawky wins the majority of faces against anyone and scores almost all our goals, and obviously I had to put myself in there  And the 2 Norbury guys have been missed out by other people but they both play for Cheshire so I think they deserve to be there as well.

GK - Rauiri Dolan (Mellor)
D - Abe Abdelkafi (Norbury)
D - Andy Nicholls (Poynton)
D - ?
M - Nick Carley (Stockport)
M - Elliot (Brooklands)
M - George (Sheffield)
M - Patterson (Cheadle)
A - Hackett (stockport)
A - Armstrong (Timperley)
A - Asa (Cheadle)

I've done it on what I remember from last year for banter, they all played in the county game except sheffield obviously, who I know from the england U 19 team is top.
Rauiri is the best goalie by a mile, and Nick Carley is the best over all player by a further mile! He played for Stockport 1st team last week...

I particularly liked the one with your left foot in the last quarter. I thought that was a certain goal. Must be your cricket reflexes!

Cheers,

Phil

You've all left out George Ievers 59#,
Midfield,
Sheffield

hes fast emerging as one of the best players in the league at the minute and hes left most defenders standing whilst scoring some amazing goals in nearly every game.

yes george is averaging over 4 goals a game or something stupid like that, he has well over 60 points i think this season in 12 games and looks the most complete player in the league at the moment.
