Good tournament help by the ELA over this weekend, the Manchester Challenge, which was held at the Armitage Centre.
Winners and runners up were:
U17 Brooklands (runner up Cheadle)
U15 Timperley (Brooklands)
U13 Timperley (Mellor)
U11 Mellor (Wilmslow)
There was also an U10 and U8 tournament.
Most junior programmes were represented, and it is hoped that this will become an annual event leading up to the World Cup in 2018.
