Is there really no lacrosse club in western Scotland south of Glasgow? I may be moving to Carlisle at some point, and there seems to be nothing between Manchester and Glasgow. Somebody tell me I'm wrong...

I'm from Cumbria, should be back off there (Barrow) when I finish up uni and I really want to find somewhere that plays mens lax, I don't understand why there isn't anything up there!

Will do, I'm in the process of helping set up roller hockey in Barrow more formally as a club, after that... maybe moving onto Lacrosse, I think we'd get the players for mens, just nobody has anything going yet!

I did contact Lancaster Uni and they do play, but I'm not sure that they're in a league atm.

So far we've got Barrow, Penrith and wherever I end up. That's nearly 1/3 of a Cumbrian team...

any more moves in Cumbrian lacrosse? Got a possibility of some work there and not sure what the situation is Lax wise

Sure if you keep digging about you will find more players up that way.
Are there not a couple of girl's schools up there that play??
You may be able to work something out with regards to a pitch and goals.

Just to say, whenever I am away from University for Xmas, Easter summer and what not, I will be in cumbria, and possibly after I finish Uni for a bit. If anything happens here I would be glad go get on board.
