Can anyone help with information on the Men's European Championships All-Star teams dating back to 1995? There doesn't appear to be a list of them on the ELF website, but someone must have kept a record of who was selected and who won the MVP and best position player awards. I have info on the 1995 and 1999 tournaments, and partial info for 1997, 2000 and 2001, so was hoping someone could help me fill in the gaps, particularly for 1996 and 2004. (I believe no team was selected or awards made in 2008).
Thanks

Re: Euro Champs All-Star Teams
I'm pretty sure that John Marr was MVP in '95 (Prague).
Reason is that I remember him doing the Player's Oath in '96 (Dusseldorf), and having a wry smile when he got to the bit about accepting the decisions of the officials
Will see if I've got any notes from back in the day...

Re: Euro Champs All-Star Teams
Found records from the first Championships...
1995 (Czech Republic, Prague & Plzen)
Slightly unusual, in that they selected an 'A' team & a 'B' team, then best positional players, and then finally a tournament MVP who didn't feature in any of the preceding awards. But it's here in print, so must be true.
European Team A
G - David (Cz)
D - Kraus (Cz)
D - Nicols (Eng) - misspelt, should be Rob Nichols
D - Boulton (Eng) - Rob Boulton
M - Lukes (Cz)
M - Beaumont (Eng) - Andy?
M - Carr (Eng) - Colin Carr
A - Lynch (Eng) - Phil?
A - Prochazka (Cz)
A - Shuttleworth (Eng) - Jamie?
European Team B
G - Greenwood (Wal) - Phil?
D - Hall (Sw)
D - Cibera (Cz)
D - Mrlik (Cz)
M - Hess (Ger)
M - Fullerton (Eng) - Paul Fullerton
M - Fahey (Wal) - Pete?
A - Sagrelius (Swe)
A - Vit (Cz)
A - Ribbentrop (Ger)
Best Goalkeeper - Martin David (Czech R)
Best Defence Player - Pavel Kraus (Czech R)
Best Midfield Player - Jan Lukes (Czech R)
Best Attack Player - Phil Lynch (England)
Most Valuable Player - John Marr (Scotland)
