Congrats to them both!

Does this mean Matt will no longer be team physio?

England Men's National Team

At the conclusion of the 2010 World Championships all England staff members retired in accordance with their terms of reference and MPC National Squads Committee invited applications for Head Coach and Manager for the European Championships 2012.

Following advertising and interviews it was the view of the appointments panel that Matt Bagley and Matt Nugent were the preferred candidates and they are consequently confirmed as Head Coach and Manager.

Dave Elwood remains as ELA Elite Performance Director and I continue as Chair of National Squads.

The appointees will work within a framework of existing England practice and policy whilst bringing their own ideas and enthusiasm.

Greg Caplin

Chair of MPC/ National Squad Committee

Congratulations and good luck to Matt Bagley as England Head Coach and Matt Nugent as England Manager

The only concerning bit is the last two sentences ...

What does the ELA Elite Performance Director do?

What does "work within a framework of existing England practice & policy" actually mean?

It would have been nice to have mini-bios in the announcement and perhaps being more upbeat
