BLUESFEST2011 WILL BE ACROSS THE WEEKEND OF JUNE 10TH-12TH 2011

IN THE SAME GREAT VENUE AT WALCOUNTIAN BLUES LACROSSE CLUB, WOODMANSTERNE, SURREY.

APPLICATIONS TO PLAY WILL BE ACCEPTED AS OF 1ST FEBRUARY 2011.

Bluesfest 2011 will be across the weekend of 10th-12th June 2011!

The theme will be announced nearer the time!!!

Email me clairek50@hotmail.com for an application pack. These will be sent out on the evening of Feb 1st. Bluesfest, as always, is a first come first served event. You must get your applications in ASAP! When sending back yo...ur application please include a non-refundable £50 deposit cheque made payable to Walcountian Blues Lacrosse Club. When cashed, this will secure your place.
PLEASE NOTE: Final payment for the event to be made by Tuesday May 3rd 2011 by cheque. This is different from previous years as we are attempting to prevent 'no show teams' which cause large amounts of disruption to the fixtures schedule and prevent other teams from having a place at the event.

Dear All,
Please remember that your remaining balance of £250 is due on or before May 3rd 2011. We have had to introduce this new policy - paying in advance - to prevent clubs dropping out at the last minute and failing to show up to the event, which leads to big problems with the scheduling of the event and means that other teams miss out!

Wasn't there myself but from what I've heard it was a UKlacrosse v Samba lax final and UK won... don't hold me to it, could be misinformed.

Yes, UK won; Samba were up 3-0 up at half-time and then lost 4-3 (I think the score is accurate).

Weather was perfect on Saturday. Pretty rubbish on Sunday with fairly strong winds and drizzle! Still was a lot of fun, and thanks to all the organisers!!
