Quick correction in the Ladies Tournament, Foxes beat Newbury Royals in a tough final game, think the score was 5-4 but will confirm.

Great tournament with perfect weather. Thanks for the organisation Clair and many others behind the scenes. :D

Can someone post final standings, would be good to know where all the teams finished up.

How was the weather?

I don't know many of the ladies results except that the Foxes beat Newbury Royals in the Final and that Blues finished 2nd in the Newbury group.

For the Gents: Not 100% sure this is correct ... Top 8 played in two groups won by UK Lax and Samba the groups finished like...

Samba
SLL
Blues
Gin N Juice

UK Lax
Donuts
ILL Allstars
Bristol

UK Lax beat Samba 4-3 in the final after being 3-0 down. All goals scored down hill!

In the intermediate 9-16th. Again two groups of 4.

Loughborough OB beat EG in the final 2-1

Liv Lax and Hillcroft were 2nd in the groups
Reading, Buckhurst Hill and two others rounded out the groups...may have been Viking and Toon Army

In the minor 17th-25th
Portsmouth beat Epsom 3-2 in sudden death overtime.

That is about all I remember of the details.

A big thanks to Claire as tournament organiser, Amit and his huge band of helpers who doshed up more food than ever before at bluesfest, Blind Zeebra for sorting out the Refs, Paul Evans for sorting the schedules and to all the Blues guys who cleaned up the mess in the pissing rain. Oh and to all who came down to play, Ref, or just drink!

Confirmed, Viking and Toon were the other two. A good intermediate group of teams who, on their day, could have probably beaten anyone else in the group. Just a shame the weather (and usual hangovers) affected the day :(
