Mouthguards / Braces / Retainers

Postby robbo Fri Sep 05, 2008 10:40 am

Just a quick reminder before the season starts...

If you are wearing a brace or retainer you are not exempt from wearing a mouthguard, despite what people may say. If you do not have a moutguard you will not be allowed to play.

Just wanted to say that to ease my conscience as I always hate bannishing people to the sidelines when they genuinely thought they didn't need to wear one.

I would also reccomend investing in a pair of goggles. I got hit in the eye by a ball in February which has resulted in permanent loss of sight in the effected eye....
