Teacher of Girls’ PE
The right candidate will offer strong subject knowledge in a range of curriculum activities, with a specialism in Lacrosse in particular being desirable. You will be required to teach across a wide range of activities including Netball, Athletics, Tennis and Rounders to all Key Stages. Having the ability to teach GCSE or ‘A’ Level PE is an advantage. You will need to have the skills to inspire and motivate across varying ages and ability ranges. It is essential that you have high expectations of students and yourself and will be able to work in a large team being friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic, supportive and patient.
St George’s provides an excellent community to begin your teaching career. Newly qualified staff are given a high quality induction programme. A post starting in July 2012 would be available to a candidate able to begin the process of joining our school at that time.

Applications should be made via attached Herts Application form, which should be returned at the latest by Friday 4th May. Candidates are invited to add a covering letter detailing their reasons for applying for this post and this school, and detailing how the post will fit into their overall career plans.
