Job Description
Royal Holloway has set an ambitious target to be ranked in the top 20 of the BUCS league tables, putting it amongst some of the best sporting Higher Education institutions in the country. Lacrosse has been recognised as one of five performance sports at the College. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a winning program, with the Women’s team. This year the woman’s team have been set the challenge to reach top flight lacrosse over the coming years seeking promotion to the top tiers of British University lacrosse.

We are looking for:

A head coach that can manage and train the woman’s lacrosse first team

Applicants must be able to work with the University schedule as attendance at all practices and games (home) is essential (away) is desirable.

Whilst there is scope for developing the program, at minimum the role requires 2x 10week terms (October-December & January-March) per academic year, with team requiring:

- Pre-season training camp
- 4 hours of practices per week (Tuesday evenings 5-7pm & Friday evenings 7 -9pm)
- Wednesday afternoon games BUCS (2pm start)
- Liaising with the strength and conditioning coach
- Team Fitness testing

Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate:
- A proven track record developing successful programs
- Experience at the university, national league level, or above
- Links with junior national league programs or junior international level.
- Ambition to help Royal Holloway Lacrosse become one of the premier lacrosse programs in the country.
