Are there any teams going for Prem promotion this year? Is this Purleys get out of jail free card?
Just because teams are eligible for promotion doesn't mean they'll take it. Did a rule get implemented that if the top of the table turn it down the next in line can go?
West:
Quinns - From what I understand they are still rebuilding and wouldn't take it
Bath - They have turned it down in previous years
B'Ham - No idea
East:
As second teams aren't eligible it would fall to Bucks, and I have no idea what their aspirations are.
Is anyone going for Prem promotion?

Re: Is anyone going for Prem promotion? Purley safe by defau
Based on the last email from Jon Cooper, Cardiff have declined the play-off game so Buckhurst Hill are promoted in place of Purley and there is no play-off for 9th place.

Anyone know why Bucks declined promotion?
Re: Is anyone going for Prem promotion?
probably down to the step up being so big and they dont want to loose every game. Probably worth the test though.

Thanks for your interest chaps. We had a very enjoyable season for a bunch of Saturday afternoon players, just need to refresh the speed/practise/training/continuity functions over the summer & season 14/15 to compete in the Premier league. (in case we are in such a lucky position again)

Re: Is anyone going for Prem promotion?
Heard a rumour that maidstone had made a case to playoff against Purley - no idea if true or not. When do we find out what's happening next year?
Re: Is anyone going for Prem promotion?
The SEMLA Exec voted for a ten team Premier Division next year.
Both Purley and Maidstone have asked to take the tenth place.
An Exec meeting online with the two Clubs on Tuesday will decide which team is chosen.

Oh very exciting! It's good to see Maidstone keen to take up the challenge.
