New teams for next season?

Postby JC Fri May 24, 2013 7:19 pm

Please note the deadline for new clubs and new teams for next season is 31st May.

Exeter and Falmouth have submitted a applications to join West 2.

Hillcroft 3 and East Grinstead 3 have advised they intend to apply.

Any others? You have a week until the deadline

Pretty much "anywhere that currently has a team in West 2" to Falmouth = ouch

If the proposed switch to summer ever takes place, factor in the holiday traffic too; might not be so bad on an early December saturday, just the 5 and a half hours from Aber.

Not heard about this but given we struggled all year to field 2 teams I highly doubt you'll see an EG3 any time soon.

Anyone know if there are any plans for another lacrosse team in East Anglia? Last I heard Norwich were withdrawing (Not sure if this was definite though?), and can't face driving for about an hour and a half to Colchester.

Strange that with the American Airbases around here, there isn't more lacrosse.
