First 23?
Prob not the best idea as I bet there will be a bunch of people sign up with not much experience. Better to put a select team out and there might be a game to be had and not an ass kicking.

Sounds like it might be a good couple of games for the England side. Make sure that you contact Steve Jarvis to appoint referees for the games.

Agree with Snoop, you don't want people with little experience turning up, it would be a waste of their time and embarrassing for the people playing.

They have also paid $4000 each to play lacrosse at a high standard, have you thought about asking some of the premiership players from the north and south to take part, even then the standard will still be mixed.

Also where are you planning on holding the games?

Well hello everyone! We're pumped to see people talking about this as we are hoping that this will be a pretty big event and fun for all! As for the questions above...let's see if we can answer some of those.

The initial process that was started a few months ago for this event was met with little to no interest from the clubcs and players that we attempted to contact. unfortunately. With the games creeping up on us we needed to ensure that there were two teams that would be able to field the games.

Now that we have the interest built up, which we are THRILLED to see, we are going to gear the selection process towards a more competitive side for each game. This was not the intention (to open it up for players, then change the "rules") but we feel it's the best decision for all that are involved; i.e. English sides and US side alike.

Game venues are being sorted as we speak and should be finalized soon. These games will definitely take place in London however due to the location of the LaxAllStars.com team lodging. All game times and info are on the ArchLevel Facebook page under the "events" page.

August 7th: 1400
August 9th: 1800

If you are interested in playing for the English side for either game for these events please send an e-mail to info@archlevellacrosse.com with the following information:

Name
Age
Years Playing
Home Club
Highest Level of Play
Past Teams
Position
Date of Game You Wish to Play In

Final roster selection will be announced July 19th (2 weeks) and a final details pack will be sent to you with all game info, final roster, schedule of events, etc. You will receive your game jersey on game day and will be allowed to keep it to add to your swag pile.

Please email us with any questions or concerns. Stay well and lax hard!

I don't know what's happening for the proposed game on Tuesday 9th August. I think the issue maybe finding a location.

However on Sunday 7th August, Spencer Lacrosse are hosting a game against the AllStars. The Spencer squad is all confirmed and includes some of those from other clubs who registered their interest, but could not accommodate everyone for the obvious reasons. The face-off is 1:30pm on the Spencer astro pitch. Map/directions to the ground on http://www.spencerlax.com/contacts.html
