Anyone know if Bath have summer training? Would be good to continue training over summer and not just be stuck with wall ball and the gym!

Got options of Bath or Trowbridge (which is closer) but need to find out more details about Trowbridge's team.

Thanks,

You should start something in Oxford. I'm fairly sure there's enough people about. As much as I'm game to heading down to reading for summer training I'd quite like to have something more local. Could easily use the stuff around brookes.

I'm pretty sure they have just messed up the ad here. Think they are running a South one in Reading too. I know the guy who heads up the uni team here has booked pitches for it

I'm pretty sure bristol bombers will run something over the summer. They did last year and with the run up to our premiership season we'll need all the training we can get!

I'm based near oxford over the summer and working in oxford for the next two years, keen to get at least some casual stuff going, though going to head down to reading for regular season. if we get a bunch together and you could get some brookes pitches it would be pretty sweet! also what about a combined unis SEMLA team or somehting? heard chat about it a couple of years back i think, i'd love to play a bit with you boys in any non bucs stuff. got 3 seasons bucs experience playing mid for exeter, captained semla for a season and coached fresh, so pretty keen to get involved.

I've had a guy e-mail me asking if I'd be interested in training over the summer in Oxford. It probably won't be anything more than a throw around, shooting at a rage cage and some drills, but would you be interested in that? I'm planning on training with the Wildcats as often as I can over the summer too, but if I can't make it to Reading, something a little more local would be ideal...

the brookes pitch is out at wheatly but we have a floodlit astro slot at the brookes sportscentre in headington from 6-7 on sats which we can use. an oxford city team was on the cards to be created last year but im not sure what happened to it, im keen to try and push for it for next season, a guy from ela emailed me saying there would be some tryout days coming up to see if there was enough interest in oxford to make a team too

At short notice, I will probably be taking a goal out to Iffley astro with a bag of balls. I'll post a couple of days in advance.

Pompey have 2 handy players going back to oxford permanantly. One isn't back until the end of summer though. If you'd like to get in contact with them at any point, pm me and ill give you contact details.

On another note, any lax in Cambridge in July/August?

Anyone know if there's much going on in the Bucks/West London area? Live about 50 minutes from Reading but would prefer something a bit closer!

East Grinstead's training schedule for the summer is as below.

The Grass sessions will be pretty informal and will take the form of scrimmage matches or light hearted drills depending on numbers. Players from all clubs are welcome.

The 3G sessions will be a bit more structured and are aimed primarily at players interested in joining EG next season.

For more info or directions please email coach@eglc.co.uk or take a look at the EGLC forum (http://www.eglc.co.uk/forum)
