But unless I'm mistaken, VMI keeper McMinn is the early leader for the second year in a row.

Re: Fantasy Lacrosse NCAA
Wells Stanwick is missing on JHU's IR for the Princeton game;
1. I didn't know, & thought I'd bagged a magic swap,
2. Zach Palmer's now going to bag a hatfull of assists as a consequence,
3. Coach Dave looks like he's going to bust an artery.

Re: Fantasy Lacrosse NCAA
That abandoned transition by JHU was an absolute joke. A little part of me just died inside. Be ashamed boys. Be very ashamed.
I'm going to write to ESPN to ask for my money back.

Re: Fantasy Lacrosse NCAA
Hopkins did what they had to do to Win against a better team.
- Win Face-offs
- Win GB Battle
- Hold onto possession for grim Death
- Frustrate & aggravate the Opposition Offence
- Play solid Defence
2 Words though would have helped this game from an entertainment perspective..... SHOT CLOCK!
The stall warnings are a joke as teams can keep it in the Box indefinitely
Princeton D finally came out in 4th Q and started taking risks and causing turnovers with Double teams but too little to late.
Princeton didn't even have a shot in 2nd Q
I only hope that they don't make Final Four because then more Teams will copy Hopkins.
I watched Villanova vs Drexel the other night, constant motion on offence, never stood still, multiple cutters, Picks and players playing all around the goal. It was fantastic to watch & beautiful but not on TV. We Get Hopkins trying to slowly strangle lacrosse to death
On the upside, I did think Dave Pietramala's Head was going to explode at one point a la "Scanners"..... and he was winning at the time
Hopefully Syracuse vs Virginia will be slightly different style of play

These chaps know what they're tweeting about;
Kevin Leveille @Kevin_Leveille
No. 2 vs No.11 in ncaa lax on tv today. Not sure if it reminded me of watching paint dry or grass grow. #playthegame #wherestheshotclock?
John Jiloty @jjiloty
I think I speak for the whole sport of lacrosse when I say, "Give us a GOOD game. We need it." RT @jojomarasco22 UVA bound

Little-known fact - Rob Pannell was popping across to play for Dan's team this weekend. Unfortunately broke his foot in some inconsequential NCAA game and now has a 6 week recovery plan.

Re: Fantasy Lacrosse NCAA
Carcatera reckons Cornell can manage without Pannell because of the work #3 has put in to team planning, so points might be spread around the other front 6/9 players.
Still rates them 6th.

Still leaves me holding Pannell and Galasso as my first two picks, both out.

Re: Fantasy Lacrosse NCAA
Wow, it's competitive in mid-table.
Two questions for the Fantasy Master, because I'm new to this (and because I'm not winning);
1. Is there an appeal process? Marcus Holman is listed by UNC with 1 goal & 5 assists yesterday. The league stats credit just the goal.
2. How do I manage my squad when games occur on consecutive days? Is there an overnight window for substitutions?

Re: Fantasy Lacrosse NCAA
No, there's no way of switching overnight. On the stroke of midnight one lot lock as the others unlock. Basically you can pick one team for a given 2 days.
That could mean picking a team for Friday/Saturday, replacing Friday's players on Saturday with some for Sunday and then on Sunday replacing Saturday players with some for Monday etc.

Dave - Keep hold of Holman as Active until I get it sorted otherwise you will miss adjustment of 5 points
