Can confirm that Ashton lost to Stockport A 10-7. Tough, well fought game played in uncompromising but fair spirit generally. We started brightly but were gradually pegged back and finally overtaken. It was still close going into the last 3 minutes but they got a quick couple and buried the game.

All the best

Results.

Postby Anthony Parker Sun Oct 21, 2007 9:01 am

Poynton drew with Cheadle and were 5 up in the last quarter apparently.

Our Premiership's less predictable than I've known it (over 15 years!).

Cheadle 'A' tied with Oldham and Werneth.

Poynton 'B' lost by a few to Cheadle 'B' (6 - 11, I heard).

Cheadle 'C' vs. Oldham and Werenth 'B' didn't happen. Am not totally sure what will be the upshot of that one.

Timp A 9-11 Norbury (to confirm the post above)
Norbury A 7-10 Mersey C

Could someone please confirm what time matches are supposed to start? I thought it was 2.15 pm.

Thanks,

Phil

most anti social club (and one of the most disliked)

I think these are two individual accolades, I would hate to see Stockport loose their hold on the second 8) Tradition is so important in this sport!

Were were told you couldn't field a team, was that the case?

Hope so. Our first win of the season. The two finest words in the English language. De fault.

There aren't many carpenters in Oldham, any one who can pull 20 feet of thin sheet metal from a 2 inch square box is burnt as a witch.
