League restructure I told you so 10/3/2011(looking good on this one)
Prem division to two leagues will result in the prem division failing and being combined with Nemla 22/3/2012
the proposed restructure to 8 teams in each prem league will only last a couple of years until it has to be restructured again due to teams dropping out. 13/12/2012

Pom, I think you need to look at this again unless you really think Wales will finish in the bottom two below all the University sides!

From what I can remember:
1st: NW East - Trophy Winners
2nd:NW West
3rd: NW Central
4th: South
5th: Yorkshire
6th: England Academies
7th: Wales - Plate winners
8th: South Dev
Joint 9th: Scotland/Scottish Unis
11th: England Unis
12: Welsh Unis.
I could be wrong about the last two placings......

South 6-7 (OT) NW West
NW East 7-5 Yorkshire
Surely it was Yorkshire vs South in 3/4th place play off?

"Semi-finals" is a bit misleading. it was actually based on 2 groups of three, based on Day 1 results:
Group A: NW East, Yorkshire, NW Central
Group B: NW West, South, Eng Academies.
Everyone in their group played each other, and 1st went into final, 2nd into 3rd/4th, 3rd into 5th/6th.
NW Central also beat Yorkshire on the Sunday (3-2 i think) so ended up 2nd in their group and faced south for 3rd place.

South beat NW Central 6 - 5 in the 3rd / 4th place play off, so top 4 was:
1. NW East
2. NW West
3. South
4. NW Central
Great weekend for the South, tied for our best ever finish, only losing 1 game and that was in overtime.

As good a south team as I've seen I think.
Experienced side with quality players plus a lot of youngsters in the dev and England academy teams too.
