Brooklands were missing a few players due to their involvement for Leeds Uni.

Strange weekend to organise tournament as some teams could be fighting for Promotion/Relegation.

Are Sheffield University not made up from mostly Hallam students? I believe they have had issues in BUCS that led to Hallam being kicked out so perhaps those issues are now affecting the NEMLA team.

Sheffield Hallam Were relegated from the Premier north league in BUCS for conceding 2 games. One to Manchester and one to Durham. When they played Nottingham uni in October they only travelled with 10 players, all be it 10 good players. I Think their NEMLA squad is only about 15 or 16 players so it if there are a few players injured/unavailable it would be difficult to put out a side.

Obviously i dont know any facts, i am just speculating

Yeah, we would have taken a draw before the game, but dispaointing to know we could have won. Massive contrast to the disapointment of the Newcastle draw a fortnight a go.

Norbury game on Saturday is a must win for both teams if either of us want to get our hands on that 4th spot!

Well done to Boardman on beating Mellor. Thats some very useful points gained for them!

As for Shef Uni, they were heavily affected by losing players to the British Uni Championships.

Hallam being relegated has no affect whatsoever on NEMLA
