Cup game. The ELA report guaranteeing that the Lancashire cup was not going to a lancs team might have lit a bit of a fire under the lads.

Thoroughly well deserved win today for Liverpool. We were gutted to lose but it was the right result on the day.

Dan Brown stood out working tirelessly throughout.
Also Ewan Wilmsmer (sp) is a great signing from Timperley.
Your LSM was effective on face offs too which we did not combat well

We worked hard but did not close down threats early enough and spent too much time man down which allowed Liverpool to score a few goals that were avoidable.

Wilmslow a won at Ashton. Comfortable scoreline which tells none of the story; it was a proper game. We (wilmslow) went behind for possibly the first time this season and had to fight back well. Ashton were solid and it was only a couple of goals difference going into the final quarter. Our best game of the season I reckon. Final score something like 18 -9. I'd love to see the quarter scores though.

Great win for our firsts too, against Sheffield uni; first win of the season. 10-5.
