League Republic

Postby DL99 Mon Nov 19, 2012 10:24 am

League Republic would be great if it were totally up to date.

However, there are a number of scores missing, I know of at least two incorrect Prem 1 scores, and North 3 has a score on 10th Nov of Brooklands 7557 Mersey 110805!

This is the only place where all the scores and league tables can be accessed almost immediately after the games have finished, and to not be up to date & 100% correct is a real pity, as it is a massive improvement on what we used to have only a couple of years ago.

I'm on there looking for results in North 3 and only 2 results this week. I know it's missed out other results in the past as well.

And yeah, there's stuff missing from Prem 1 as well.

You're right though; it would be a great service if it worked properly.

Are there any other sites with full up to date tables?

A month later and that score's still not been changed, in spite of it being such a glaring error.

It's an embarrassment; how much has been spent on websites to look pretty while the content's ignored?

Up to date league tables should surely be a minimum expectation.

Sunday league or even 5 a side leagues at the pitz are better run.

Is there no-one responsible for it at the moment?

The league fixtures sec, who is doing on a volunteer basis, around his other jobs. Have you taken the time to report the error?

The text service is pretty much instant, therefore teams aren't submitting results. The system works when used.
I was once part of the winning Pop Lacrosse team that defeated Wigan in the 1992 Greater Manchester Youth Games.
