Norbury 25 - 4 Liverpool

Liverpool arrived late due to Sat Nav taking them through Manchester City Centre, so didn't have much time for a warm up and played with 12 men.

They lost 4 of their 5 top scorers from last season over the summer so it is a very different team than the one that got promoted from Prem 3.

They battled hard for the whole game and played in good spirit, competing for every ball until the last minute.

The game was refereed very well by Wilf Seville (Panel) and John Gosnay (Home ref) and we had the privilege of Graham Lester assessing the referees on the sideline.

Very clean but physical game with both teams pushing the tempo all game.

Good luck to Liverpool for the rest of the season and we look forward to playing the return fixture at your place
