Definatly don't use paint remover, the dye has been absorbed by the plastic, it's not on the surface of it. Bleach maybe?

It depends how it's been done too, if its done with Rit dye then you could possibly get it out, but it's a long shot.

If it is factory dyed then you have next to no chance.

One way to solve it is to re dye the head black!

I think you are stuck with it, maybe easier to just buy a new head and start over.

BTW why is this posted in the Attack forum

RIT do do a colour remover, not sure if it will work with a lacrosse head tho.

Go on, post a picture.

dye

Postby jjlax Thu Apr 06, 2006 10:15 am

yeh i died it myself and it was meant to be black but it has since faded to purple and as i made it a black purple fade at the beginging it now is purple/ light purple/ bit of black/ fade looks kinda good i have also died other heads but i now what to take the colour off of the now purple evo pro but i am cautious about using the bleach as it may make the head realy brittle.

Wont sand paper leave it looking a mess?? and rough?

bleach

Postby jjlax Thu Apr 13, 2006 4:08 pm

tried bleaching the head but it only makes the colour fade and the purple that was once light purple is now grey and the purple that was dark purple is now a little lighter than before looks kinda good now though  put six diamod mesh in it to now and put the traditional pocket in another head.....

sounds like you got your self a mess at your place. Try putting some plastic explosives all over it. Let it site for about an hour, or until it starts to hard. Set it off, go over to the closes LAX store and buy a new head. :D :D
