I've been using a torque for the last 4 years, does exactly what I want in a FO head, nice profile, reasonable flex etc. Only downside is that I go through at least 1 a season. This isn't such an issue anymore as the original torque has come down in price but was a tad expensive for a while.

I've not tried the Torque pro or Torque 3 variants, they may have different properties but I couldn't say.

As an aside I've also used a Phantom, Oracle, M1, Answer and Heat and all have various things going for them, my downside is I like a softer head, and when things go a bit 50/50 of the face these warp.

I also gather the Heat and other box heads will no longer be allowed in ELA competion

hey guys, just to keep you updated, I bought the stx stallion 2 weeks ago now, trained with it and played two games and I absolutely love it! It felt like home as soon as I started playing with it.
I was a bit worried at first because I got the head on a friday and my first game was on the saturday but as soon as we started warming up, I felt confident. my shots and passes are more accurate and I love the feel of it when I face.
I'm going to stick with it for a bit and I'll let you guys know how it feels mid season.

Any chance of a video to show how well it flexes during a face off? Are you able to pinch and pop? Does it spring back to shape like it's advertised?

i don't have a video camera unfortunately but i'll try to find one on youtube.
yes i'm able to pinch and pop and it does spring back to shape! it is safe to say that it is my new favorite head! best £70 i've spent in a while.
I had a game yesterday and I didn't lose a single faceoff with it.
It is worth giving it a go!

alright I just realised it came out wrong.
I obviously didn't mean that you NEED to have a stallion in order to win but that it works well with the way I face. some people might not like it but I definitely do!

It's so good he posted the same review twice in one thread.

New Blade Pro is being developed by Warrior, Alex Smith and Geoff Snider. Supposed to use the same plastic as the OG Blade, which is where the Blade 2.0 and FO editions failed. For those who don't know, OG Blades are generally seen as the best face off head ever made, and having been discontinued years ago, they now sell for hundreds of dollars.

I'm sure that Paul Cantabene probably has a stash of the original Blades in his garage.

The original blade was amazing, I was gutted when my last one broke.

I find that heads with a flared side wall usually make a decent face off stick. Examples are blades, helix, razors etc.
