I didn't i missed it and I'm gutted, Question of Sport had the famous Alex Rastelli goal vs USA from 1994 World Games in Manchester in the "What happened next?" round - funniest thing I've seen on TV

is it available online or on iPlayer?

Lacrosse was shown very briefly on ESPN America during a piece on Head Injurys in Junior Football (8-15) they showed a widow with 3 boys whose dad was an NFL Player and died of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE). There are a number of current NFL players who won't let their kids play tackle football and play Flag football instead. The widow won't let her sons play football one plays tennis and the other Lacrosse as a defender (Lax footage).

So Lacrosse is seen as a much safer sport at junior level than Tackle Football.

The long term effects of head to head contact are still being researched and studied and may challenge the existence of US Football in current form.

on now ESPN Extreme (Sky419) "I'd Do Anything"
Competitive Dads go through challenges to win their sons a prize; the Dads have to catch&throw baseballs into a batting cage 60 metres away whilst being bombarded from pitching machines.
Protection is a lacrosse helmet with goalkeeper guard.

BBC Radio4 Claire Balding's "The British and Sport" discussed the Cadbury's Bournville works' sports facilities set up as an integral part of the project. Mentioned lacrosse as a popular winter option with a large weekly audience. I presume this was the women's game, and there are archive films out there but nothing yet switched to digital format.

I've seen a clip of '50s Purley v Hampstead without boundaries - the game carried on around and through a clump of passers-by out for a healthy constitutional.

A Film showing on SKY Premier at the moment

A Warrior's Heart (2011) -

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1341340/combined

In shock and denial over his Marine father's death in battle, star Lacrosse player Conor Sullivan, always a maverick and a hothead, starts acting out in self-destructive ways that have his mom, Claire, at her wit's end. But arduous training in a wilderness Lacrosse camp under the tutelage of his dad's old combat buddy, Sgt. Major Duke Wayne, opens Conor's eyes to the true meaning of maturity, sportsmanship and manhood...

Seen the whole film. What's awful is that they've clearly bothered to get a fairly decent high school lacrosse team in to film some of the lax scenes but in some of the others (namely those involving the main character) they've completely disregarded any sort of accuracy for what the sport should look like.

One of the highlights is watching the main character take practice shots on the cage with horrendous technique, which then cuts to a different camera angle and now all of a sudden his helmeted lax-double is tearing corners with textbook technique.

Kyle Harrison (Hopkins/USA) & Xander Ritz (Maryland) were the Lacrosse Co-ordinators

I believe they are the guys behind LXM Pro Lax Tour

Just finished watching it, IMDB gave it 4.3/10

It's a bit cheesy with extra cheese but still better than "The Creator's Game", the sentiments of respect the game and the traditions were OK but over egged it.

Still nice to see any lacrosse in a film

Hopefully, Crooked Arrow will be a lot better

You can ask Kyle about it when Arch Level Lacrosse bring him over to the Europeans in Amsterdam this summer

I'm surprised that they didn't do anything about the face off scene where they stand up and push each other around. It even made it into the trailer:

On the latest episode of Homeland on channel 4: there's a men's lacrosse stick standing up in the porch of Carrie Mathison's sisters house (which is interesting considering she only has daughters).

Couldn't make out which team it was but a couple of seconds into the video you see a bunch of lacrosse players in full gear starting the sport relief mile:

Favourites from new Am Pie - "stifler how didn't you realise half the lax team were ***?" and Oz has his helmet encased on his mantle piece in his swish LA pad.
