£125,000 on admin apears quite a lot

to make a profit on the games is a great achivement.

only £500,000 on wages how may staff do the ela have?
League restructure I told you so 10/3/2011(looking good on this one)
Prem division to two leagues will result in the prem division failing and being combined with Nemla 22/3/2012
the proposed restructure to 8 teams in each prem league will only last a couple of years until it has to be restructured again due to teams dropping out. 13/12/2012

125k probably equates to 3 or 4 full time staff.

500k to maybe 25?

3 o4 staff would that not be covered in the wages.

aslo that would mean the admin staff are on between 41K and 31 k

wher as the average for the other staff assuming 25 would be 20K that is a bit odd.

so 125000 on pens paper paper clips a photocopier trip to las vegas 1 st class for 25???.

I would have expected the wage bill to be higher to tell the truth.

no wonder we dont attract from outside the sport

Sour is right, If the employee is not in a pension scheme the employer pays 13.8% NI contribution as well as any additional on costs usually between 3-10% (though in come cases total on costs can be 50%)

So conservatively 4 employees on about 26k would cost about 125k to the employer

I would have thought the admin cost etc aren't the staff in head office but more the Insurance type costs, obviously pen's etc, branded clothing for staff to name but a few things, i am sure there is some overlap with the PR on a lot of these things so maybe stuff towards the website/Lacrosse talk.

And i wish the wage bill was higher, i would get even better christmas presents from the other half if they were

Its nice to hear that the ELA budget is concidered 'well managed from a financial perspective, in sound health and well placed to fulfill its objectives' and with reports in the press recently saying they are performing well on Sport England targets should mean that we are well set for the future.
