D Heads
so, one of my D men needs a new head and doesn't know what to buy. I've got a Gait Wizard and it rocks, but they're hard to find these days. I've had the Revo Pro as well and its pretty good. any thoughts on great D heads from Brine?

Go STX...For D i would use a Bionic, good strong head with a decent face and pinch, not to thin for D men! this is a very popular head amongst players of all positions. check out the selling section!
Some one loved Demus' Bionic so much they stole it!
I've not had many brine heads and personally feel that they've been getting cheaper in quality (however i do like the pulse!). they seem to be geared toward the attack players too, (answer, cyber, truth, pulse etc.)

revo pro is great, very strong side walls, and holds the ball well. i been trying go get my hands on an MD or M1, M2, MX because there side walls in cross section are as thick as terrys choc orange segments, very nice.
some of that mohalk lax stuff looks very strong too, the arrow in particular, or if u want a head with knuckles on it! try a shockwave, or shamrock.

I've got a second hand Revo Pro if you're interested.

brine edge 2 is rather gud! cant get them anywhere as far as iv lookd. or brine edge plus.
brine edge in my opinion was perhaps a little too frail to deal out the checks and pokes, edge 2 had nice reinforced side walls making it great, good on the pick up too, and wide for knockdowns, got 4 or 5 years out of mine untill it split by the throat, probably because of too many big poke checks that bent the head too far to the side.

I will have shortly some limited edition Brine EDGE originals, brand new! Can't wait, they were such a great head! My mate Tom broke his Edge+ (the edge 2 with the re-enforced sidewalls!) and he was deverstated! So i'm on the hunt for one of those too! A super head, super strong and super original!!

I agree totally, they're about as tough as it gets.
I have a Brine MD going spare at the mo. Was going to put it on eBay, but if you are interested pm me and let me know.
Its red with trad stringing and currently on a short shaft. Hardly been used, probably had about 4 hours game time in five years.

Ive had the revo pro and I think it's good for about half a season, at which point it begins to bend near where the neck meets the rest of the head. I'M using a profile this season to play long stick midfield with as it is quite stiff but has a great shape to it. I also have a bionic which i would say is the best defenders head I have ever played with. Alot of the American defenders I met that play high school lacrosse would swear by the x2 which is a decent head too for defenders because of its wide shape.

i got profiles with wales, and i the 4 weeks i had them i broke 2, the 3rd one i just sold to a midi, depends on your game put if yo poke check alot they die and bend and snap
i have 2 revo pro's and they are the best head i have used on a pole, nice weight to add to your checks and strong enough to poke so it can actually take the guys out,
i have just bought a new head, the mach1 from MIL and to be fair thisthing is insanely strong, not so good for field lacrosse because it is really i mean really hard to ground ball with it, apparently need to boil and and warp it so its better.

can't see how they'd get in the way. really good head. I think the idea behind the battlement style sidewalls was the increased distance between the top of the ball and the top of the sidewall. the fact that it's pretty good at raping clothes seems to be a bonus.
I think that newer G-forces have rubber sticking up bits so an older one would not only be cheaper but also more harsh.
