Oxford 16 - 6 Reading

If there was a scoreline that didn't tell the story of the game then it was this one.
After complete dominance from Oxford in the first half who were to there credit quick, immaculate handling and clinical at the goal, the first quarter ended 11-0 to Oxford. Reading seemed completely asleep in the first not finding any sort of rhythm or continuity they fell victim to a horrible spell of dominance and momentum. However from then on after a quick team talk they retook the field and actually gave Oxford something to worry about. The game became more even wit Reading dominating more in the middle which reflected in the change in quarterly score lines.
Unfortunately it was all too little too late for Reading and despite a fantastic last three quarters the deficit and hammering they received in the first was too much to conquer.

11-0
1-2
1-2
3-2

Thanks to Oxford who hosted a great game enjoyed by all.
