Re: Stand out players in the Prem
Yep Max Sandy. Spencer had an excellent team this years and were wildly inconsistant compared to the juggernaut that was Hampstead. Stand outs were Max, Rob Holmes (his performance in the flags final in particular was fantastic), Sam Dunwoodie, Liam Mcgreavy and Will Walker. In defense Bill Fisher a...

Re: 2012 NCAA Coverage
Both were really great games to watch. I hadn't seen many of the DII and DIII finals before but the play from all 4 teams was brilliant and really enjoyable. I hope the DI final will be just as entertaining though I'm annoyed they moved our lax bank holiday to next week!

Re: Ncaa tournement
Great final four all things considered. Loyola vs Notre Dame Duke vs Maryland I thought Loyola and Duke were superb at the weekend and would love to see the final being played between them. Both teams were fantastic defensively, great of transition and intelligent in attack and didn't slow the game ...

Re: Ncaa tournement
Loyola, Denver or Colgate! Would be great to see someone new win a title. It's a pity that Denver play Loyola again for the 3rd time this season but I reckon it will be agreat game. Sadly I think Duke or Hopkins will win it though not writing off Virginia entirely. Not a fan of ND, they bore me to t...

Re: Stockport v Hampstead Sunday 13th
vs Hampstead LC - some old City Slickers who occasionally play lax, a couple of USA exiles maybe on the team (Southern Shandy Drinkers) They have two England 2012 members: - Ryan (Myerberg?) - Ex-Virginia NCAA D1 LSM - Jason Gilmartin - Ex-Bryant Faceoff specialist I think Hampstead this year is al...

Do you live down South? If so he normally has a stand at the Flags Finals (week Saturday in Reading) so you can catch him face to face.

Re: Results 31/3/2012
Reading 3 - 13 Spencer - Despite them starting with 9 players for the first 10mins or so we didn't capitalise and they lit us up in the first half (10-1 at half I think it was). Not a great way to end the season but full credit to Spencer who played hard, moved the ball extremely well and were clini...

Re: South Counties Tournament
I want to echo the thanks to the organisers and all the referees who came. It was a great day of lacrosse. Always amazing to see so many teams playing on 2 pitches side by side constantly through the day. The final in particular was a great game and London really raised their game for it against a H...

From what I gather Southampton were away on tour this weekend (there was no Hampshire team at the county tournament) but sorry to hear you've missed so many games this season.

Re: BUCS Semi-finals
Heart obviously says Loughborough, surprisingly enough head says Durham. Have heard lots of good things about Manchester but would love to see Exeter make the final. They've put together a great programme and it shows what you can achieve in a short period of time with the right set up. Their victor...

Re: Predictions 11th Feb
Considering that in-land it's been below freezing every night, and likely to be -5c and -11c on the weekend, can't see many games going ahead unless on artificial pitches. Sad but looking increasingly likely. Big shame considering the temperature during the day is fine for a game. Just need the pit...

Re: Hillcroft
I've found coming in from the south of the M25 the traffic has never been too bad.
Probably take you about 10-20mins to do the last couple of miles but has otherwise been fine.
