I think the EG vs Blues match will be a good game for all concerned - no doubt played hard and fast but hopefully with good spirit. It's a game that could go either way with both teams having different styles of play and a different group of players and abilities. I think it will be within a couple ...

Will & Mandy I personally am in agreement with you guys and I know Andy Lowden and I chatted about it last season as well. The 3 weeks barrier is quite a large percentage of a 20 game season and doesn't always assist clubs in thier development. SEMLA bye-laws can be altered and perhaps that's th...

Read the SEMLA bye-laws

If you are dropped to a lower team within the club it is 3 weeks before you can return to that higher team

Wez - I think you'll find that's University Coaching Day - see thread in Southern Lacrosse

My understanding is that it is likely to be around about 6th June - but that's subject to confirmation.

Blues Three's were delighted to host Spencer Three's. Okay not pure 3's teams but good fun in the sun for all concerned and great to see so many young players being involved from both teams. Thanks to Rob Collinge for refereeing and to Andrew for orgainsing the Spencer guys. Good luck with your seas...

I don't know the Lee record off the top of my head but 14 times league winners in 15 years rings a strong bell.

I think Peter Munday will have all the records going back - some one all to collate them before they pass with the passage of time.

Did Baggers not get on the pitch in the England vs Switzerland game - sure he would have bagged atleast one............. not another Gerry Paine syndrome.

Politically correct to picjk but not put on the pitch.

It's very simple - it's a question of manpower (sorry personpower). Most clubs I know are struggling to ensure they have thier teams out each week. A lot of southern clubs are relatively speaking newly formed. We don't get people to volunteer to keep stats cos we don't have enough retired players pr...

This may surprise a few - but I'll back Croydon for top spot this season - not sure how well they could do in the Prem - but they have a good young core of players to build around and I think they will surprise a few. (PS: By young I don't mean Harpic, Andy Morris or Duncs.) Blues as a club may well...

Thanks for the reply Dave - as always trying to support lacrosse and it's development to the full. That's an excellent website tip - and urge all players especially newcomers to the sport to hit the link and see what it offers - you must spend hours searching these things out and then generously pas...

Interesting way to start the discussion Dave - and it is so obviously not another North/South debate that we've all experienced many times in the past. Here goes for my six penny worth. Ash does cover a couple of valid points in his reply especially in respect to the relative immaturity of the clubs...
