Re: Results 2/3

Yes agree, pity only 1 team turned up. Stockport fans certainly enjoyed it along with many others. The quality and performance was outstanding from start to finish, probably the most complete performance in the way they blew away a quality Cheadle side away. Obviously if you were supporting the losi...

Re: Results 2/3

So you're actually going to watch 2 premier teams, hope you enjoy the experience. Yes, I'm actually going to watch 2 premier teams if I can make it over. Don't quite understand your point, perhaps it will come to me eventually. I hope I enjoy the game, just like I've enjoyed many premier games over...

Re: Results 2/3

Unfortunately I will not be at the Flags Festival tis year as i am being dragged away on holiday! I suggest that Mr D and YT, both attend the Senior Final wearing a green carnation and carrying a copy of Love in a Cold Climate. I am sure at their first meeting all will be resolved and affection wil...

Re: Results 2/3

Trig will you ever get to play Stockport ? You obviously have some problem and happy to undermine the club using this forum. As the referee today said " it is not the referees job to make the game equal if the opposition are not conditioned or skilled to cope with any team better prepared"...

Did I read somewhere that the finals are all at Leeds Met Carnegie this year?

Does that mean they are going to finally mark the 3g for mens lacrosse?

Understand you were looking through the pictures of a certain club a few weeks ago ? Oh right. No need to be cryptic. Yes I was at Stockport and looking at the team pics and trying to see if I could put a face to your name but Moaning Git pointed out that you werent on them. Haven't lost much sleep...

Re: Results 23rd Feb

Big result for Leeds! Thats a decent sized half a scalp to take! Yeah, we would have taken a draw before the game, but dispaointing to know we could have won. Massive contrast to the disapointment of the Newcastle draw a fortnight a go. Norbury game on Saturday is a must win for both teams if eithe...

Yes

Ha ha! I agree. And if not, I'm pretty sure they would have got over it pretty quickly and gone on to focus on playing in the final!

Re: Results 9/2/13

I believe the winner was the groundsman. He did an impeccable job keeping the pitch in top condition....took him hours apparently. Gilly is just a grumpy old man. I reckon brighter lines for the crease markings wouldn't go amiss. Might help your attackers know when they can and cannot check the goa...

Re: Should we move SEMLA to the Summer?

With a few notable exceptions (Matt Birkett springs to mind, who narrowly missed out on the 2012 European Squad and began playing at Portsmouth Uni), I don't think it's a shame to say that if you put a stick in the hand of a youngster at the age of 8 they have more of a chance to make the England S...

Re: Should we move SEMLA to the Summer?

Well thought out document from Matt Bagley. However, First and foremost, it remains difficult contending with football and rugby for youth numbers, so one solution is to start introducing lacrosse to the kids in their "off" season. Relying on University students to expand the growth of the...

Also the U19's League & Cup needs to change, week after week we have breaks or weeks off, this is not down to the organisation but the scheduling of the tournament, we are already asking some of these lads to play 3 games per weekend? move it to the summer/end of season and make it a showcase a...
