Re: Results, 24th November
Reading 13 - 5 Purley Very wet and muddy match that ended up in the pitch black. Purley with only 10 players fought hard and were 5-3 up at half time but the conditions and their numbers took their toll and we piled on the pressure in the 2nd half. Cheers to Purley for a typically competitive game. ...

Hampstead 10-9 Reading
I think. Was a one goal game that went right to the wire with the lead changing hands several time.
Excellent post match hospitality as usual.

So we are a few games in now. Are any unis using this? Are you getting a good amount of regular data? I've checked the website and the bit where stats are supposed to be updated and published still says coming soon.

Re: Results 3rd Nov
Some interesting results in the Prem this week. Just saw on the website that EG lost 20-2 to Hampstead. Can anyone shed any light on this? Hampstead's results seem to have been solid but unspectacular up until now. Cheers to Welwyn for the game. Took them a while to get going but they have a lot of ...

Re: Looking for a set of gloves similar to the Brine King 2
I would go with the Maybachs. Bought them after I had my King IIs fall apart and was a bit worried that they would be too bulky but they were just as flexible and broken in as my Kings with about 10 times the protection.

Re: Running Up the Score - A Class"less" Act
Manchester played Durham yesterday and I was chatting to one of their poles. He said after half time they slowed right down and stopped banging them in, but then the University Sport Director arrived and apparently told them he wanted a 40+ score line. They seem a different group of lads this year,...

Re: SEMLA County Tournament POSTPONED
I wish this weren't the case, but you said in a different thread that teams were expected to be organised autonomously and independently, which will just never work as good as it sounds. You need to recruit someone from each region explicitly to coordinate... And how do you propose that someone is ...

Re: BUCS Lacrosse Stat Tracker by ArchLevel
will there be a guide for people who are taking stats... i.e. what is an assisted goal... Saves on goal, when it hits the pipe?? Face-off wins, is that possession, or face-off. I've heard so many interpretations of 'assists' in lacrosse ... it's better than Fantasy Football! This argument comes up ...

Really? What a waste. Surely a minimum 5 years playing left if not more.

Re: fish and chip shop league
I did wonder if the copy had ever been checked when I read it. I mean it was obviously an opinion rather than officially endorsed but you can't have something like that on the governing bodies website. Also I felt the preview was a bit of a cop out only doing 1-5 and then washing over the rest of th...

Re: Latest Standings (Men)
If anyone has seen the stats they'll see England have given up 50 minutes worth of penalties, second most after Spain. I've watched some of the games and have been wondering about this. Is this a result of our domestic game? Are we allowed to get away with way more things our club matches? Initiall...

Looking at the stats England pulled Ben MCallister at half time when they were 7-2 up.
Ireland scored twice in the last minute as well.

Just talking about growth regarding SEMLA. In 2002 there were 18 teams in the South. Having just seen next seasons draft fixtures list there will be 53 teams competing in 2012/13 (35 unique clubs). That's happened in just 10 years. Whether it is going to be possible to sustain the growth remains to ...
