Re: 2011 Summer Lacrosse League

So uni players get to play throughout the year, and non-uni players get to play summer only? Hmm.... Worse than that, what happens if a student doesn't live near a club at home? Re: 2011 Summer Lacrosse League

Sounds like the aim is brand promotion and revenue generation. Lacrosse should be a summer sport anyway, it's only convention and tradition that mean it isn't and i'm happy to throw both out of the window Well that and we'd risk alienating all those uni teams by playing during the summer holidays.

Re: Results - 20 November 2010

Right, think I've got this a bit confused here. I thought The rule only applied when moving players of a better standard down to a lower league? If a 1st team player plays for the second team, he has to serve 3 games in the second team before moving up. But if a 2nd team player moves up to the first...

why not adjust the rule, rather than the pitch? Put in something along the lines of 'making an attempt towards goal' or the like? I think the current rule is fine. Forces the D to throw out some interesting moves like bringing the goalie out! I always thought that once the stalling warning is in ef...
