Colchester - game on??

Hi, could anyone who plays for or is on the Colchester mailing list please tell me if the game against Croydon is on tomorrow.

Of the three contacts listed on SEMLA two no longer play for the club and the other is in France skiing.. really don't want to drive 2 hours to find out it was cancelled

What about EG Christmas Cracker, The Croydon v Purley boxing day game (ran for about 40 years I believe), The Easter 8's, The Centurion sixes.. to name but a few.

Re: Possible changes to football calendar....

My understanding from Peter Munday is the leagues were agreed to be structured over winter season as many clubs did (and still do) play on cricket grounds.
Making it a summer sport would, amongst many other things, render a number of clubs homeless.

Keep calm and contact your club... Croydon forwarded the information straight to the manager at Bromley Cricket Club who quickly explained we were already covered for accidental damage to property, articles and persons in specific relation to lacrosse. They updated their policy when we joined their ...

Bath 8's

Can anyone clarify how many players a team is permitted to 'kit up' for Bath 8's.

Just checking as we have some players who are saying 'I'll come have a run on if I can' and players like myself who may just play one or two games due to injury.

Worth contacting Northampton, Hitchin, Welwyn and even Leicester Uni mens to try and arrange some pre season friendlies.
I imagine they'll be looking out for warm up games.

Jon, excellent bit of history there, talk about above and beyond! If anyone get's a chance to see Peter at this year's flags final ask him about the story below as it's really interesting how it came about and links to his tireless efforts to start up lacrosse in Malta.. I also think he's been tryin...

Re: New Zealand Lacrosse

Excellent, always need more Zebra's as the game grows here. The league is very social, so its a good way to meet some new faces and most of our ref's are likewise, retired players. Bill is definitely your man to talk to though. League kicks off in November, as does the summer so you couldn't be head...
