Re: South Counties Tournament

Rob, it wasn't written in an 'uncalm' tone at all, simply explaining the background to your comment for those who may wonder why SEMLA had not included the England training dates.
This also was not written in an uncalm tone :D

Re: South Counties Tournament

To be clear, SEMLA announced the fixtures as per the byelaws and normal practice for the last ten years or more in May of last year. The England team/NEMLA didn't fix dates for the northern schedules until September. The England training weekends were part of that scheduling as the bulk of the Engla...

Re: MPC, Regions, Counties!

Well the South seems to agree that Counties can exist within a regional body. Next Saturday will see the second Annual County Championship for SEMLA with ten county teams, up from eight last year. Plus the Belgium national team as a visiting guest team. Hopefully over time, some or all of the counti...

Re: South Counties Tournament

Rules for the Tournament are below, Since it says 'rules of lacrosse as played in SEMLA', I assume that there is no squad maximum and is up to teams to decide how many players in a squad. Just to be clear, it is a 10 a side tournament. COUNTY TOURNAMENT RULES ALL OF THE RULES OF LACROSSE AS PLAYED I...

Re: Structure for the 2012/13 Season

There has been no discussion of next year's structure yet at the Committee meetings. As is now standard practice, we will see which new clubs will apply before the AGM and which clubs will not continue into next season, e.g. Penarth and RAF Marham are definitely out. Then we'll discuss the best form...

Re: South Counties Tournament

Come on Toby, chance to be the Surrey Manager if you're quick!

Write to the SEMLA Secretary (semla.secretary@southlacrosse.org.uk) to register the team and yourself as the manager and send the £50 entry fee to the Treasurer (semla.treasurer@southlacrosse.org.uk)

Re: South Counties Tournament

The LDO question wasn't raised last year as the tournament was held long after they had all gone home. I see no reason why they can't play, they are active members of the Clubs and therefore the County. On the referee question, Steve Jarvis is organising the referees who will be paid the normal dail...
