Another Fock-It Pocket!

Here's another RP variant. It's come out very clean, throws and holds very well. I really like this style of stringing too as the pocket forms well without too much alterations or messing about with it. The double interlocks hold it in place well too to stop slippage as you use it! http://i88.photob...

Re: Double or Nothing

Yes you need to make a little slit in the leather and the feed some side wall or cross lace through it. You can either knot it so it doesn't slip through, or you can loop it through. You can then tie the string into the bottom of the head like a bottom string. With a proton power you can also feed a...

Re: Double or Nothing

This is actually a Super Power so it has 4 bottom holes. Personally not a fan of the Proton Power as its a little too narrow (but still have one...) Stung in sidewall as it holds up to the weather better. There's a great little trick you can do by slitting the leather and then putting a piece of sid...

Double or Nothing

Here is the latest head I've strung. Lots of double interlocks in this one. The coil came out very clean and the pocket was made to be mid/low. Minimal whip and good hold too. Just need to add some shooters next. http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k182/cjlax/d8053381-901f-4fa7-8c00-3b259bfea8a8_zps90...

Some Custom Gloves from the Collection...

Here are a selection of gloves from the collection... UNC STX Assaults - IMO one of the best gloves on the market (to go with the Nike Vapor Elites!). I have 2 of the 3 alternate designs UNC had. Gin & Juice Brine Shakedowns - Solid gloves with great protection, designed for the Worlds Festival ...

Re: Improving my game

Watch loads of lacrosse in the United States of America. The only remaining thing I would add is that if you want to be the best then you should try and emulate the best. I was taking Davey's advice and checking out some US Lacrosse on YouTube, and I came across a visual aid to help with Mr McC's a...

Trig - do we know if Norbury are playing this weekend? Could a win for them put Leeds in the play offs?

Re: NEMLA PREMIER 1 PLAY OFFS

Putting aside the fact that the play off teams might not have entered any players but...is there a reason why the play offs have been scheduled to clash with the Manchester 8's Festival - which I am told has 20 mens teams inc. c.160-200 mens lacrosse players signed up to play in it (not to mention t...

Re: Silly Season question

Isn't there a rule that prevents a player from swapping sticks on the field whilst in play?

I always remember when running an lsm but with only 10 men the player had to come off the field swap sticks and run back on. I would think this is similar... ?

Re: Dylon instead of RIT

You would need to use the Dylon in the little silver circular tins with coloured stars on, but seeing as though Jay has RIT at Northern Soul, I'd just get it from him, its far easier and you get far better colours as hatswell says!

Easter Spoons!

Easter Spoons...! First is a Gait M4 with a Bay pocket variation. Second is a Stallion with a Heat/Bay/Random custom. Third is a Super Power with a mid mesh pocket. The M4 has really good hold and all three have little whip! http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k182/cjlax/16e8f022-2020-48d9-a0c6-9bd4a7...

Re: Lightest attack shaft

Narr, none of them quite cut it I'm afraid!.

The Tri-Kor Sub 5 and the Gait Ice are lighter! I have both shafts and they are excellent. Neither are going to be unbreakable but based on weight and feel they are super shafts!

Re: Lakota or Stallion?

I have both heads and prefer the Lakota. The pinch on the Lakota is much better as is the off set point. I also think its stringing options are better. The Stallion is heavier but is exceptionally well made and good quality. If you want an attacking midi head go for the Lakota. If you want a sturdy ...
