London Uni 7 - Herts Comets 2 Very fun match with some highly comical ground ball moments! In all seriousness though, a hard fought match. London Uni D stepped up on the many man-down situations. Herts had some nice looks at the goal and some well excuted fast breaks taking advantage of some s...

Re:

Croydon def. London Uni. 18-4 I thought the final was 16-4. I could be wrong though. Either way, it was a very hard fought, hard hitting match. Croydon, as usual, made London pay for their slip ups. However, despite the score, London played its strongest match of the 2nd half and really showed cons...

Re:

Croydon def. London Uni 23 - 5 Very spirited London Uni team were no match for the smooth transitional play of Croydon. An extremely good team performance with some exceptional goals. First Croydon shot of the game shattered my Nutt Hut in 3 places. That pretty much set the tone of the game. :|

Thanks Brighton for hosting the match on such short notice. Your squad looked incredibly sharp and took advantage, quite literally, of every opportunity (of which they were ample).

Never done this before but what the heck...here goes... East1 Croydon v Bucks East1 Blues 2 v Cambridge - Blues up against arguably the east's top goalie but I think the early season loss to Cambridge will fire the Blues up enough to make things interesting. . If played smart, I like a much improved...

Just a few I'd like to mention that stick out in my mind in addition to those already discussed. Unfortunately, from my side of the field I dont get a great look at the opponents long poles and being new to the UK I'm still getting to know everyone. LSM: Blues 2 - from an earlier post I'll assume it...

I got hit...twice...in the same spot just underneath/behind my nutt hutt at last weeks EG Christmas Cracker. Wicked bounce shots that I stepped out to and rose up under me catching nothing but soft tissue. I'm still in pain a week later. Worst part is that the guy scored on one of them so I had to d...

Ah, my mistake. At the start of the match we were told it was going to be a friendly - and I suck at counting.

Buckhurst Hill ended up having to concede the match to London Uni. A good number of their players failed to make it to the match so they could only field 6 not including their Goalie. We ended up loaning them a few of our boys and had a friendly match so as to not lose the afternoon. Some very memor...

Hello UK lax community

Hi all. My name's Eamon - I'm an american import doing my postgrad work in london for the next year, maybe more. I'm proud to be the goal-keeper for London Uni men's! I've been browsing the forums for the past few weeks and thought I'd start to get involved myself. It seems like a really great commu...
