Re: Silly Season question

Technical foul against the Defender - throwing his stick. No posession at the time so ball goes the attacker's way.

Re: BNCs West Team

A Reminder to Clubs that nominations are due on the 20th April. Many thanks to those who have already replied.

I've also been unsuccessful in contacting CHLC. No response from my original email. If anyone on here knows they right person to talk to, please could they PM me.

Many thanks

Stoke 3 - 12 Liverpool A bunsen burner of a pitch that made bounce shots and ground balls interesting! Stoke did a good job of disrupting Liverpool's rythm & composure in front of goal early on, constantly harrassing in defence and keeping the score pretty close in the 1st qtr. Liverpool knuckle...

Couldn't agree more Pom! unfortunately time waits for no man!

Hopefully with the the new model in place for next year trials can be organised well in advance of the event and allow everyone interested in playing the opportunity to prove they have what it takes!

BNCs West Team

A shameless rip off of Chris Brook i'm afraid, but imitation = flattery and all that. Dear All, As Manager for the NW West Region at this year’s British Nationals, I am honoured and look forward to working with some of the best players and coaches in the country as we compete in one of the UK’s marq...

Re: British National Championships- North West Team

How did the choice of clubs for areas come about? Personally, I'm not too bothered about it, it's all NW at the end of the day and I think it's always difficult balancing the clubs in terms of strength and geographical area. What I am interested in, is how will the teams be selected? trials (yay), ...

Lincoln 2 - 7 Liverpool A pretty threadbare Liverpool 10 went over the Peak District to play on Lincoln's lovely 3G pitch (though I still prefer grass) Bitterly cold an raining meant it was a bit of a low key affair, with Liverpool picking up where they left off from last week, scoring some well wor...

Re: Capital One Cup

I wouldn't advocate, giving up faces, passing to goalie etc, but I would say that once you're in a position you should never lose, try something different? i.e: Work on winning face offs using techniques that don't play to your strength - that increase competition but you're still giving %100 If you...

Trig will you ever get to play Stockport ? You obviously have some problem and happy to undermine the club using this forum. As the referee today said " it is not the referees job to make the game equal if the opposition are not conditioned or skilled to cope with any team better prepared"...

Liverpool 11 - 1 Lincoln Numbers still a bit thin on the ground for Liverpool at the moment with only 10 lining up for the team in red. A much more competitive game than the score line may suggest, with Lincoln making several fast breaks and moving the ball around nicely. Liverpool stepped it up in ...

Congrats Stoke.

From what I can work out, I'm 99.9% certain CHLC have secured a promotion play off today. Fully deserved and hope it goes well! (Unless it's against Newcastle! - an away trip I could do without!)

You'll have to ask them, but I was left with the impression that they will struggle to get teams out for the rest of the season, home or away :(
